Because this is what I'm doing with my skillset today. Making fun of people who make fun of new performers, in the form of designing personalized merch for a non-existent yet suddenly-ubiquitous burlesque star. Burlesque n satire n all that. And then when I showed people these things I made with her name, there were a few of y'all that actually wanted to buy it for some reason. Thank you, I'm losing it.

Anyway, to explain the reference... basically somebody made up the stage name Suzy Von Strip to make fun of people who were intimidatingly good at burlesque right off the bat. Matt Finish (a burlesque dancer with a helluva platform, normally Matt does "(un)helpful burlesque tips" to satirize mildly problematic behavior that happens in the burlesque world) called it out yesterday. Then memes happened and suddenly Suzy Von Strip is more famous in a day than any other stripper has grown in 18 months
