Fine biodegradable glitter hand-poured in sturdy glass cosmetic pots for environmental sustainability.

This vibrant fuchsia is a stunning addition to nail art, makeup looks, and art projects. Compared to our pink glitter, it is a deeper, purple-ier color and finer cut, plus is biodegradable rather than compostable like the pink. Cosmetic-grade and safe for skin, but be extremely careful if you use it near your face. Do not get it in or near your eyes. It also is sturdy enough for nail art and most artistic applications, but we recommend testing small batches with your medium ahead of time.

While this glitter is safe for use on the body, it looks best in compact applications so it doesn't work very well as a scattered body glitter. If you're looking for something more for scattering on your body we'd recommend our Silver Sheen, Irridescent Silver, or Gold Flake glitters.

• Usually stable enough for artistic applications, soaps, and bath bombs, but we recommend testing a small amount first because some substances will react with the glitter. In general, our corn based compostable glitters are more stable, and finer cut glitters curl less in liquids. • Made from a plant-based cellulose film. The biodegradable glitters are made from sustainably sourced eucalyptus cellulose, and the compostable glitters are made from corn cellulose.
• Safe for the environment, can be washed down the drain, and will decompose in 4-8 weeks depending on conditions. These eucalyptus-based ocean-safe biodegradable glitters are more carefree and can be washed down the drain or released into the environment readily with a faster biodegradation rate, but still depend on the conditions of heat, water, oxygen, and microbes for how quickly they biodegrade. Our other line of corn-based compostable glitters decompose best when washed down a shower drain because wastewater treatment facilities will filter them and provide them with the industrial composting facility they need to break down.

Loose eco-friendly glitter sticks well to things like aloe vera, coconut oil, eyeshadow primer, soy or candellila wax-based skin products, body safe glues, lotions, clown paint, sunscreen, etc. If you mix it into anything, mix a small amount per batch for best results. GLITLICKER has a long, stable shelf life if kept dry. This glitter is cosmetic grade, but as is true of all types of glitter, larger flake sizes are not recommended for use near eyes (small sizes are considered safer, especially for children). Do not eat or let it get in your eyes, mouth, nose, or any other holes.
