The Diamond Jar is...

- Damond shaped recycled glass jar that fits nicely in the palm of your hand
- Closed with a metal screw cap to avoid spills while in storage and for easy on-stage removal
- 50g customized eco-friendly glitter blend

Stage Ideas:
This jar is a good size for hiding in costumes for a reveal. When poured on stage, fine glitter looks like glittering liquid to the audience and creates a soft but very reflective shimmer. Chunkier glitters sparkle in a more pronounced glimmer as they fall. A mix of multiple sizes can create an effect of sparkly depth. The last picture above is an action shot of shaking the fine gold glitter on stage.

Photoshoot Ideas:
This is body-safe so it can be used in photoshoots with body painting or rolling around in glitter. To get the glitter to stick better to skin, apply with something such as coconut oil, aloe vera, or hairspray for a moderate stick, or body-safe glue for a very hearty adhesion. Follow the directions on your application method, and we recommend testing a small amount to make sure it is the right solution for you, and to check the substance doesn’t affect the glitter (most of our glitters are very stable in most substances, but we offer small sample test kits if you'd like to try before buying a larger size).

- Safe for use on skin and feels softer to the touch than plastic-based glitters.

We're currently using recyclable plastic bubble mailers but looking for better plastic-free options as we transition to functioning as a totally plastic-free small business.
- Usually stable enough for artistic applications, soaps, and bath bombs, but we recommend testing a small amount first because some substances will react with the glitter. In general, our corn based glitters are more stable, and finer cut glitters curl less in liquids. - Made from a plant-based cellulose film. The biodegradable glitters are made from sustainably sourced eucalyptus cellulose, and the compostable glitters are made from corn cellulose.
- Safe for the environment, can be washed down the drain, and will decompose in 4-8 weeks depending on conditions. Corn-based compostable glitters decompose best when washed down a shower drain because wastewater treatment facilities will filter them and provide them with the industrial composting facility they need to biodegrade. Eucalyptus-based ocean-safe biodegradable glitters are more carefree and can be released into the environment more readily, but still depend on the conditions of heat, water, oxygen, and microbes for how quickly they biodegrade.

Loose eco-friendly glitter sticks well to things like aloe vera, coconut oil, eyeshadow primer, soy or candellila wax-based skin products, body safe glues, lotions, clown paint, sunscreen, etc. If you mix it into anything, mix a small amount per batch for best results. GLITLICKER has a long, stable shelf life if kept dry. This glitter is cosmetic grade, but as is true of all types of glitter, larger flake sizes are not recommended for use near eyes (small sizes are considered safer, especially for children). Do not eat or let it get in your eyes, mouth, nose, or any other holes.
